An alternative way to decorate your memorial is to tile a computer image across the
background of your memorial. You must first have the image stored on your personal
computer before you can use it in your memorial.

the Background Image Change Box
To set the background image click on the 'set the background image' button. If there are
currently no pictures being used in your memorial a window such as the following will be shown.

setting the background image
Clicking on the 'browse' button will will cause a file browser window to appear. You use the
file browser to locate the image on your personal computer. The image must be one of the
following:
JPEG file, with the extension '.jpg' or '.jpeg'
GIF file, with the extension '.gif'
PNG file, with the extension '.png'
After selecting the image, click on the 'change background image' button to set the
background image. This may take several minutes depending on the speed of your Internet connection.
If there are already picture elements in your memorial the page will
look like the following example. You can 'reuse' other pictures already in use in your memorial
as the background image. To reuse a picture you must click the radio button beside the picture
you want to reuse so that it becomes darkened. If you reuse a picture you don't have to click on
the 'browse' button, however you still have to click on the 'change background image' button.

setting the background image with choices
After clicking on the 'change background image' button the page will be shown with your new
background image in use. The following example shows a new background image in use along with the
Background Image Change Box being displayed with a copy of the image.
Tip: Background images cannot be seen with some older web browsers (for example version
4 or earlier of Netscape Navigator). If you are unable to see a background image after setting it
you may have to upgrade your web browser.
