Paragraph elements are used to display text (words) in your memorial. For example,
the text in this help page you are reading is grouped into paragraphs. This line is
located in the first paragraph on this page.
You are now reading text from the second paragraph on this page. Just like these help
pages, paragraphs in your memorial are automatically separated by empty lines.
You can assign a different color to each paragraph. This paragraph's color is set to 'blue'.
The paragraph can also be indented. This paragraph is indented '1' time. Note how the left and
right edges of the paragraph text are farther away from the sides of page.
This paragraph is indented '2' times. The left and right edges of the paragraph text of
this paragraph are even farther away from the sides of page. The higher the indent level,
the farther away the text is from the edges. A value of '0' results in no indentation.
You can also center all of the text in a paragraph, just like this one. The lines of centered
paragraphs appear balanced in the middle of the page.
Here is an example of a paragraph with color set to 'green' and is centered.
To create a new paragraph, locate an Element Creation Box where you want the paragraph to be
positioned. With 'paragraph' selected, click on the 'insert' button.

the Element Creation Box with 'paragraph' selected
The page will reload showing the words 'insert paragraph' in bold text at the top.

creating a paragraph
Near the top of the page will be a small button with the word 'centered' beside it. If you
click on the small button and a check mark is shown, the paragraph will be centered
in your memorial.
Below the small button will be a large box. This box is where you type in the text that will
be used in the paragraph. To enter text just click inside the box and start typing.
Tip: You can hit the enter key inside the box with the result of adding extra empty
lines. However these empty lines will not show up in your memorial. To separate text with
empty lines you must create another paragraph, as empty lines are automatically inserted between
paragraphs.
Below the box is a field and a selection button. The field controls the color of the
text. The selection button controls the indentation level of the paragraph.
At first the field is set to 'default', which results in default color (black) for all of
the text in the paragraph. To change the value simply click in the field
after the word 'default' and use your backspace key to erase 'default' and then enter the
new value. The indentation level has a default value of '0' and can be changed by simply
clicking on it and choosing a new value.
You can enter the name of a color, such as 'blue' in the color field. You can also enter
the RGB (red green blue) numeric equivalent of the color starting with a hash symbol '#'
(blue is '#0000ff' for example). You can use either format.
Tip: Not all color names will work, only 'generic' or 'popular' colors will work.
For example 'blue', or 'darkblue' will work, yet 'cherryred' will not work.
Tip: To restore the default color of a paragraph simply empty/clear the
field or enter the word 'default' (no quotes) in the field.
Below the field are three buttons. The first, labeled 'cancel' is used to abort
the creation of the new paragraph.
The second button, labeled 'reset input' will erase all of the text in the box,
set the field to 'default', set the indentation level to '0' and clear the
check mark of the centered button.
The last button, labeled 'create' will create the paragraph. Your new paragraph will
be placed exactly where the Element Creation Box was located (where you clicked on 'insert').
The paragraph will be located inside a yellow box, called the 'Paragraph Change
Box'. See below for more information on making changes to an existing paragraph.
If the paragraph did not get created and you clicked on the 'create' button
please see the trouble shooting page for more help.
