Memorial page guidelines

It is entirely up to you as the memorial author what you put in the memorial. All we ask is that the information be in good taste, be accurate and all text must be written in the English language.

You can add as many pictures and words as you wish, and even background music, as long as the total size of the memorial does not exceed 5 MB (five megabytes).

We highly recommend reading some of the memorials listed on this site to get ideas on what you might want to put in your memorial.

We try to emphasize that Memoriam.org is a way to help keep a loved one's memory alive. We hope that memorial authors will put the effort into making a lasting and unique memorial.

Are there any guarantees?

Unfortunately, since this is a free service there are no guarantees. However you can rest assured that the Memoriam.org administrators will do their best to ensure that the web site will be kept active and operational as much as possible.

Please understand that the Memoriam.org web site is a free service run by volunteers. As a result your requests or queries may not be answered immediately since we don't have paid staff monitoring email and web requests every day. However rest assured that your emails will eventually get answered.
