A Prayer: May you always walk in sunshine and God's love around you flow, for the happiness you gave us, no one will ever know, it broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone, a part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
A million times we've needed you.
A million times we've cried.
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died.
The Lord be with you
And May You Rest in Peace.
Dear Eric, Your were a blessing to this family. You were fun and adventurous. You lived life to the fullest. You are greatly missed. Your beautiful daughter Erika now carries your spirit in her. We miss you dearly. Here is my Christmas wish for you. A light shone around the manger, it gleamed from within his breast. The light of life transcending the Son of God expressed. As a babe came the Lord of glory through the gloom illuminating worth. Of men who were hopeless without him bringing hope and joy to the earth. May this light shine on you this Christmas, warm your heart like a fire from above. May the spirit that lives in Christ Jesus light your eternal life with his glorious love. Your loving Aunt Lori
Today I was reminded of you... taken back to a special place in time... And as I thought of you, a certain sort of sadness filled my heart... Even though the memories we have are special and thinking back on them fills my heart with joy, my eyes also swell with tears because we are so far apart, and I miss you very much. Love, Lisa and Erika
Background music is "Tears In Heaven" by Eric Clapton. Lyrics:
Would you know my name,
If I saw you in heaven?
Would you feel the same,
If I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on,
’cause I know I don’t belong here in heaven...
Would you hold my hand,
If I saw you in heaven?
Would you help me stand,
If I saw you in heaven?
I’ll find my way through night and day,
’cause I know I just can’t stay here in heaven...
Time can bring you down, time can bend your knees.
Time can break your heart, have you begging please...begging please.
Beyond the door there’s peace I’m sure.
And I know there’ll be no more tears in heaven...
Would you know my name.
If I saw you in heaven?
Would you feel the same.
If I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on.
’cause I know I don’t belong here in heaven...
