City of Brotherly Love Francis E. Cauthorn 78, loving father of Francis Paul, Marianne, Timmy and Neil Cauthorn. Husband to Clara Cauthorn; "Front Page Cauthorn" was a journalist for the Philadelphia scene. He was a resident of south Philadelphia. He was a graduate of Temple University and a member of the fraternity Omega Psi Phi. Mr. Cauthorn began his career teaching where he also coached football and track. He was a musician during the Big Band era traveling through the United States and France. Most of his years were spent as a reporter and journalist at the Philadelpia Tribune. He spent many years as the publisher of the City Journal. He was a mover in the Civil Rights movement. His efforts as a committeeman were among his later efforts. He spent his time on humanitarian efforts. He helped youths to obtain summer employment and entertained senior citizen.
