Anthony Jeffrey Hood (Lil Bro) was a loving father, son, brother, and uncle. He was my youngest brother. When were little my Mother called us the two gold dust twins because were always together playing or getting into trouble. Lil Bro also left three daughters Brittany, Jasime and Meagan. Brittany graudated from 8th grade June 19, 2002. When I walked into the church my hear was so heavy. I just kept thinking you will not see your baby walk across the stage, but I know you were watching and smiling from up above. But I wanted to be there sitting next to me. Lil Bro was an artist. He could take a photo of you and draw it and it would look just like that photo. You were diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 1999. Even though the doctor told you needed a new heart. You just kept on going trying to take care of your babies. You went into the hospital in April 2001. But by that time your entire body was swollen because your heart was just barely beating. Each time I went to see you in the hospital I prayed for you to get better, but we all knew in our hearts in was only a matter of time. Before you were put on a respiratory, you told me I have to get out of here, where are my shoes??? I told you they were at home and you said that's okay I'll just take your shoes. That was just like you with all the pain you were in you still made me smile. The doctor could not understand how your heart became so weak. You never smoked or drank. All you tried to do was keep your wife and kids happy. Lil Bro I miss you so much!!! I miss your jokes you always played on me, I miss the way you always teased me or had something smart to say as you ran out of the front door. You would be so proud of your daughters especially Brittany. She cooks, cleans and takes care of her little sisters. I tried to see them on holidays and as much as possible. I know you don't have to suffer anymore. Rest on Lil Bro and I will see you again someday!!!
Love Ya!!!
