A Prayer: We sat beside your bedside,
Our hearts were crushed
and sore;
We did our best to the end,
'Til we could do no more.
In tears we watched
you sinking,
We watched you fade away;
And though our hearts
were breaking,
We knew you could not stay.
You left behind some
aching hearts,
That loved you most sincere;
We never shall and never will
Forget you Adam.
Dear Adam, You are greatly missed and we love you so very much. You were an inspiration to us all. We miss your laugh and your smile. This is our Christmas wish for you. A Christmas Blessing for you. A light shone around the manger, it gleamed from within his breast. The light of life transcending the Son of God expressed. As a babe came the Lord of Glory through the gloom illuminating worth. Of men who were hopeless without Him bringing hope and joy to the earth. May this light shine on you this Christmas. Warm your heart like a fire from above. May the spirit that lives in Christ Jesus light your eternal life with his glorious love. Your Godmother, Aunt Lori
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Love Lisa, Erika, and Marina
Background music is "Dust in the Wind" by Kansas. Lyrics:
I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment's gone.
All my dreams, pass before my eyes, a curiosity.
Dust in the wind, all they are is dust in the wind.
Same old song, just a drop of water in an endless sea.
All we do, crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see.
Dust in the wind, All we are is dust in the wind.
Don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky.
It slips away, all your money won't another minute buy.
Dust in the wind, All we are is dust in the wind.

I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up does rejoice. Still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone. I guess I just miss my friend. (Shawshank Redemption) This quote reminded me of you and eric. I miss you guys, Love cousin Jim.
"Soul Meets Body" - I want to live where soul meets body,
And let the sun wrap its arms around me,
And bathe my skin in water cool and cleansing,
And feel, feel what it's like to be new.
Cause in my head there's a greyhound station,
Where I send my thoughts to far off destinations,
So they may have a chance of finding a place,
where they're far more suited than here.
I cannot guess what we'll discover,
We turn the dirt with our palms cupped like shovels,
But I know our filthy hand can wash one another's,
And not one speck will remain.
I do believe it's true,
That there are roads left in both of our shoes,
If the silence takes you,
Then I hope it takes me too.
So brown eyes I hold you near,
Cause you're the only song I want to hear,
A melody softly soaring through my atmosphere.
Where soul meets body.
