My Mother with my son Jarret IN MEMORY OF MY DEAREST MOTHER AND MY VERY BEST FRIEND MARIA THERESIA GULDIN Maria Theresia boarded the train to heaven on July 3, 2003, re-united with and escorted by the love of her life, husband Werner, who passed away in 1995. My Mother lived her live with love, faith, enthusiasm, generorsity, determination, strong opinions and her greatest attribute: hard work. She was my light and my rock, always there when I needed her and made me who I am today. She was a mentor to my sons; Jarret and Adam whom grew up knowing "Oma" as their secondary parent. Her love for them and them for her was special and I realize how fortunate they were to have been allowed this wonderful relationship. My Mother was my best friend and confidante. Always there to listen to me and I, always there to listen to her. We were blessed to have each other and this I will hold onto forever. Though she is gone from this earthly world, she lives on within my heart. When days get strained and I feel alone, I put on one of her sweaters, spray her favorite perfume (channel #5) and feel her strength within me and carry on. I know she is with the Lord, the angels and the man she had to live without for 8 years. Knowing she is with Dad and they are once again one, I smile to the heavens and blow a kiss to the wind. I know it will travel beyond the clouds and reach their smiling faces that look down and say "Carry on". Love you and miss you always! Your daughter........Lucia
