Robert Donald Andersen Jr (Junior or JR ) Born to Robert Donald and Wilma Frances Andersen ----September 15,1934 in Bakersfield Ca Kid boy as he was called by his mom came home to older sister Margaret (Margie) who was born April 1933 In September 1936 along came little sister Frances Patricia (Patissy ) Uncle Bob as almost everyone called him, lived most of his life in Southern California,where he went to school, joined the Army, married,(3 times) and raised his family's. He married his first wife Diane in the late 50's and they had one son Robert Donald Andersen the 3rd born in 1961. Uncle Bob and Diane were divorced in 1964 and somtime shortly after that Diane moved back east with Robbie. Uncle Bob married his second wife Cynthia around 1966, Cynthia had five children when Bob and her married, they divorced a few short years later. Uncle Bob stayed single for a few years living the bachelor life until meeting Ann. Uncle Bob married Ann in April of 1973.Ann had 5 Children when they married. Chris ,Robin ,Kari,Gidget and Julie . Bob and Ann were divorced in 1988 . Bob was grandpa to 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandbabies with Ann. Uncle Bob remained close to Ann and their grandchildren and great grandchildren. . Uncle Bob was a big ole gruff,kind,loving,giving person till the day he died. He always had a hand out to help anyone who was in need. For the last 10 years Robin, her family and son Jeff lived with uncle Bob which enabled Uncle Bob to stay in his own home. Uncle Bob's health and eye sight in the last few years would have made it impossible for him to live on his own. Thank goodness he had Robin and her family to live with him and allow him to stay in his own home. Although Uncle Bob lived a full life and had lots of family,extended family and friends, He always had one thing missing from his life,his son ROBBIE. That is until 3 years ago, When he received the phone call he had been waiting for, for so many years. His son Robbie had found him. The joy in his voice when he called each of us to tell us he had talked to Robbie was the happiest I had ever heard him.The happy News spread through out the family as we were all overjoyed to have them reunited.For many years Uncle Bob searched for his son and unknown to him his son was also searching for him. Thank God they were able to find each other. Although they only had a few short years together it brought Uncle Bob such peace, comfort, and joy to know his son and 5 more grandchildren and a great grandson were added back into his life. Uncle Bob was able to travel up to Santa Rosa to visit Robbie his wife Errin and two of Uncle Bob's grand kids Ayla Rose and Dylan Paul a few times with the help of Jeff. Uncle Bob's other living grandchildren from Robbie are Lacey Savannah Schroeder, born March 26, 1986 Randall (Randy) Robert Schroeder, born Feb. 12, 1989 Joseph (Joey) Daniel Schroeder, born Feb. 19, 1991 and great grandson Trey Ryan Cox Uncle Bob always had DEEP spiritual beliefs and a personal relationship with Christ for most of his life. I'm sure the only regret he had when leaving his earthly body was the short time he was able to spend with Robbie and his family. Uncle Bob is survived by his sister Pat Cash,his Son Robert Donald Schroeder,Daughter-in-law Errin Schroeder, 18 grand children,4 great grandchildren, and too many nieces and nephews to count. Uncle Bob you will be missed. Your strong helping hand and your big heart of gold..
