Mother and Child Andrea Kathleen Swensen was born March 16th, 1944 to Arthur Swensen and Olga Korick Swensen, in Brooklyn New York. She was my mother. To me she was the best mom that I could have had. Tried to raise a family with an abusive husband, finaly getting away, and having a good life , and then trying to help me through losing my son to murder. She was a wonderful woman, with a wonderful sense of humor, a wonderful cook, a highly intelligent and well-read person who loved life and her family. Her presence is sorely missed by her daughter Erica, her father Arthur Swensen, and by the rest of her large family. WE LOVE YOU! Andrea Roberts Royston Andrea Kathleen Swenson Roberts, 58, of 2350 Athens Road, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002. A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Roberts was a daughter of Authur George Swenson, Royston, and the late Olga Korick Swenson. She was a retired nurse and was of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Hunter Alexander English. A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pruitt Funeral Home. The Father Terence Kane will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. In addition to her father, she is survived by a daughter, Erica Brooke Roberts, Royston. The family is at the residence and will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
