Gene & Marie Wilbur Eugene Wrisk was 76 years old when he departed this world on Sunday, March 19, 2006 while residing in Fort Wayne , IN. formerly of Bradenton, FL. Born December 22, 1929, in Fort Wayne, IN, to Charles and Ardith Wrisk the elder of two sons. On March 1, 1958, Gene married Pearl Marie Scoles. Gene was also was a long time member of The Elks Lodge (#2734), American Legion and Disabled American Veterans. He had a wonderful career in the trucking industry. Gene was a wonderful husband, father, & friend. He leaves behind a large family two sons, Brian Wrisk & his wife Chrissy of Bradenton, FL and John Wrisk & his wife Tammie of Columbia City, IN, two daughters, Melody Lehman of Lake Shores, FL and Sherry Smith & her husband Kenny of Fort Wayne, IN, 8 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie, in 1990, his parents Charles and Ardith, and his brother, James Wrisk. Memorials may be made in his honor to your local Humane Society.
