Brown, Donald Barry (1951 - 1978)

"The path of sorrow, and that path alone, Leads to a land where sorrow is unknown." - Wiliam Cowper You were one of the shining lights of Hollywood in the late 60's-early 70's; extreme handsomeness, a brilliant mind, and an incandescent talent seemed to ensure a meteoric rise to fame, fortune, and success. Sadly, an insidious illness robbed your of health and vitality, and you were taken from us, far too soon. You have left us, however, wonderful legacies of your acting and your writings, and your image captured on the silver screen - forever young, forever vibrant - make those of us who remember you from the beginning of your short career remember our youth, also - and we are all in the springtime of our lives with you, once more. The sadness and the sufferings of your life are at a merciful end; rest well, and bask in the warm glow of Our Heavenly Father's love. Hopefully, someday on the golden shore of Eternity you will get to meet your devoted fans, and realize how much you were appreciated and LOVED by all of us. We will never forget you, Barry; and to quote the immortal Bard, William Shakespeare, an author whom you so loved in life to read: "Good night, sweet prince, And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest!"

Barry Brown, 1951-1978
