Tomlinson, William John (1952 - 2004)

In loving memory of a kind, gentle and beautiful husband and dad. Billy was our life and he lived for more than 20 years with ill health. Each time he was knocked down by his health, he would bounce back and be the man of the house again. It was no different in 2004. In April, Billy suffered hes third heart attack, and then a massive stroke on the day he was being released from hospital. After 7 weeks of intensive rehab he was basically back on his feet indoors, but he had grown terribly thin. Then a lump developed in his neck. It turned out to be cancer. As Billy had also suffered from a bloodclot and was being teated with Warfarin he couldn't be given chemotherapy. None of us knew just how quickly his death would follow. Billy died three weeks after his diagnosis. It still kills us. Billy we just want to say that we miss you so much and you are always in our hearts and thoughts and forever will be. Death, I've discovered, is the most awful part of life. How do we carry on without you? You didn't deserve what happened, I just wish we could have changed places. Until our family chain links again my angel. We remain, your loving family. Always and forever Billy. With much love and kisses, your Lizzie and daughter Molly and Peggy, (Rachel and Tammi). xxx
