My mom lost her battle with pancreatic cancer on October 17th 1996 it was the worst day of our lives. Here is a poem I wrote for my mom... My mom was here but then she died. 5 years has past yet still I cry. Why did she die myself I ask. They laid her down below the grass. She was so young and god took her away. We wander why everday. She left her family and her friends. When will theses dieases come to an end. Against all dieases we must stand. If we all fight against them they will leave the land. Mom If a genie granted me one wish it wouldn't be alot of $money$ or a mansion in Malibu It would be one more day with you. I would hold you and hug you and tell you all the things that I never got to say. I would still be wishing for more days with you. My mother
